6 August 2010 Update showcalender off: Azuma, Kanyo, Kimani and Bwana. New pictures of Jengo, Senya, Kimani, Badu, Esban, Kanyo, Dodo & Kaya and Cezai. Jengo is staying over at Ilse´s place while his owners are on a nice holiday. Jengo looks a lot like Azuma, but I think he also has a lot from his mom Vai.
Powerlifter Cezai and smart boy Badu
And lovely ladies Kaya & Dodo and Senya & Kimani
And last but not least, a picture of Aketi. Aketi is Vai and Ghalu's grandmother and Azuma's grand-grandmother and she will turn 13 this year. Azuma is named after this special lady :-)!
1 August 2010 Ladies and gentleman, after we had to wait for a long, long time, we have finally got it.
24 July 2010 We will proudly present to you our C-litter "Bis repetita placent"
And also wonderfull new pictures of Badu, Moon, Clarisse and Floyd in Kroatia. Hansome Floyd Last wednesday we had our Ghalu neutered, he is not in breeding because of his lovely, but for our breed too shy character. Since a year he is going crazy when the ladies are in heat, something he has never had before. Therefore we decided to get him neutered. He is feeling fine already, so we are very happy for that! 17 July 2010 Lot's of new pictures of Kanyo, Kimani, Senya, Boshira and Juma. Boshira and Kanyo with granny Vai (he stayed over for one day and night)
Azuma and Kimani, mmmmm wonder where Kimani has it from ;-)
A nice doggydaycare report from Clarisse!! Puberty by Floyd ;-))))
And finally I took some time to place the 2010 pictures of Vai, Ghalu and Azuma
And individual pictures of Vai, Ghalu and Azuma

---------------------------------- Clarisse in the USA, by Joli "I was getting ready to write you with the latest update. Clarisse is doing wonderfully. She is, in fact, now an official rescue dog. She saved Mom and Dad from being caught in a fire during the night. One night last week, Dad turned on the dishwasher, as usual, before going to bed. Clarisse was sleeping with Mom, but she wouldn't settle down. So, Mom took her to Dad's room thinking she wanted to sleep there. But she wouldn't settle down there either. Dad let her out of the bedroom and she went to the living room where she was crying and crying. Mom got out of bed to see what was wrong and when she got to Clarisse, who was at the kitchen, Mom could smell something burning. Clarisse showed her where it was! And it turns out the coils in the dishwasher had overheated and were bright red and the pans inside where red hot. A little longer and the whole thing would have caught on fire!!! Our baby girl is a hero!!!! We love her so much and are so proud of her!!!! Of course, she got endless praise, hugs and kisses and now, has VIP status!!" Our co-own's Kimani and Kanyo are almost ready to start in youthclass. Kimani will be shown in puppyclass one time and than the real work will start. Kanyo will be shown in youghtclass for the first time in Rotterdam. We are very curious. Kimani & Kanyo
------------------------ On the 5th of June the RRCN organised a coursing, again in Leek, and I brought Azuma and Ghalu. Rhodin and Juma also participated and did an excellent job. Right after taking the first corner Azuma was thinking "I think it is not okay for me to run this far" and she came running back and sat right in front of me. Therefore I did not let her start the second round, she listens so well now after all the rabbithunting ;-). She can not make a difference between real rabbits and coursing, while Ghalu and Vai can. Click here for the pictures
Our Lynn has her own page
28 Mai 2010 Last sunday Ilse and Azuma went to the dogshow in Arnhem. Azuma is in excellent condition, even though she was in heat, and managed to get a 4th place Very Good. Better luck next time and thanks to Ilse for taking our Azuma to the show for us and letting her stay over for 2 nights :-)! We received new pictures of Aisha who loves to hunt in the woods.
More news will follow soon Lynn (almost 2 weeks old)
19 Mai 2010 May we proudly present to you our daughter "LYNN" Lynn is born on sunday the 16th of Mai, 14.54 hours, she weighs 3275 gram and is 50 cm long.
10 Mai 2010 Today is the due date of my pregnancy, but still no signs yet the baby will be born soon, but who knows what will happen after I uploaded my website ;-). The text on the t-shirt says "LET ME OUT".
New pictures of Juma, Badu, Kanyo and Floyd.
Also a new stacked picture of our Co-own Kimani at 6,5 months of age. Her showcalender is also updated, just like the one from Kanyo.
Hasani, sire to our A-litter celebrated his 8th birthday yesterday and he still looks so good. He is stunning as always and Azuma looks a lot like her dad. @Hasani Marek
27 April 2010 Azuma started her heat a few days ago, so about 9 months from now we will be planning our C-litter if we manage to find a perfect male for her. Bwana and Ilse in Lingen :-)!Look under showreports for Bwana's report and here for Amira's report.
Also new pictures of, Kimani, Senya & Keano. 24 April 2010 To start, the teeth of Bwana and Floyd are also checked now, and they are complete and correct :-)!! Today was a perfect showday for our Kani Akilah team that entered the CAC/CACIB in Lingen, Germany under strict judge J. Hiddes. While I stayed home (38 weeks pregnant) and doggysitted Ilse's boys (we spend some lovely, sunny hours at the tenniscourt), Ilse and her mom with Jolinde drove to Lingen with Azuma, Kanyo and Floyd. There they have met up with Hennie and Rob with Amira and Bwana. So 5 Kani Akilah's were entered and Ilse showed 4 of them ;-) which she did great, as always! The showreports of Amira and Bwana will follow later, het showreports of the other three can be found on the website. Sadly Azuma was not in a good mood since she is about to start her heat and she corrected her daughter Bwana too hard, which resulted in a bleeding ear. Mmmm, bitches ;-)!! Puppyclass Kani Akilah Balondemu Azkanyo "1 Very Promising" Kani Akilah Bakari Floyd "2 Very Promising" Kani Akilah Bahiya Bwana "1 Very Promising"
Open Class Kani Akilah Amira "Excellent" Kani Akilah Aketi Azuma "2 Excellent, res. CAC VDH"
And there was some more news, we congratulate Ingrid and Ingmar, who have Senya and our Co-own Kimani, with the birth of their son "Keano". Keano was born 5 weeks to early on eastersunday, but he is doing great. Ingrid and I were due only 2 days apart from each other :-)! I made this picture when Keano was a week old.
19 April 2010 Ilse and I checked some offspring for their teeth and at this moment the bites of Moon, Kimani, Boshira and Kanyo are correct and complete :-)!!!!! The others will be checked soon since they were still changing teeth the last time we saw them. ----------------------------- New pictures of Amira, Bwana and Cezai.
------------------------------ Last weekend Ilse and I also visited Moon and of course we made some very nice pictures of this energetic, happy and stunning boy. Moon is a look a like of his dad Kani, but in the livernose version ;-).
--------------------------------- And then some other news. Lovely Clarisse has moved from Germany to the USA. Clarisse is now living in Elisabethtown, Kentucky, with the parents of Joli. Of course we got a nice update and she is doing so well already after the long flight and adjusting to her new home. We hope the rest of the family will follow soon so you can be together again. Altough we know she is in good hands, I was a bit nervous for her flight and I am so glad she is okay, settled and happy! Big hugs! 6 April 2010 Lot's of news!! And more to come soon. Yesterday Azuma was entered to the CAC/CACIB in Leeuwarden, first show in Holland after she had her puppies and almost 10 months after the last one in Holland. Altough the Finnish judge was very strict and therefore we did not expect it, she got: "2 Excellent in open class" Thanks to Hans and Evalien for the picture After the show we went to pick up Ilse's boys at her mom's house and we made a nice photoshoot of Azuma, Kani and their son Kanyo. Lot's of pictures here.
------------------------------------ Last week we had a puppymeeting and Moko from our A-litter, Bwana, Dodo, Kimani, Kanyo, Bo and Esban from our B-litter and Ghalu, Darell and Kani were present. Ilse made lot's of pictures and also stacked which can be found here. We are so proud of their development, energy, characters and lovely owners!! Sweet, sweet Dodo and our stunning Kimani!!
--------------------- And even some more pictures from our visit to Floyd and Badu.
------------ And at this moment we still have about 4 weeks and 6 days to go till our own baby is expected ;-).
1 April 2010 Aisha, Noa, Kiki, Kai, Moko, Senya, Jengo, Nala, Kaya, Rhodin, Azuma and Amira celebrate their 3rd birthday today. Times has gone so very, very fast, can't believe it has been 3 years already. Big hugs from us :-)!!
14 March 2010 Last weekend we did not only show Azuma and Kani in Munchen, but we also visited wonderfull miss Ridgeless "Clarisse". It was clear Clarisse is loved and fit's her family perfectly, we are so proud of her, little miss energetic ;-). We had a great time, Joli, Jeff, Theodore and Christian, thanks for the lovely dinner and huge banana cake! Clarisse will be flying to the USA by the end of this month, so it was a perfect opportunity to see this little rascal before she leaves. We are sure she is in good hands and who knows someday we will visit her in the USA :-)! Our pictures were not that good, but Joli send me a lot, see here. Isn't she stunning!!
-------------------------------------- Yesterday Ilse and I visited Floyd and Badu. We had a great time, and brought Darell, Kani, Vai and Azuma with us, we could all just fit in one car ;-). We are so proud of these two youngsters, both so different in type and character, but both stunning, open, energetic and playfull. In the morning we made a nice walk with Floyd and our pack and in the afternoon Badu and the pack played in the garden and we made a small walk in the woods after Darell and the ladies eat all candy of Badu. Ilse made stunning pictures and more will follow.
------------------------------------ Lot's of new pictures of Juma, Badu, Floyd, Kimani and Dodo.
And from our A-litter new pictures of Kaya and Aisha.
8 March 2010 SHE DID IT!!! CAC/CACIB Munchen, 1 Excellent, CAC VDH "GERMAN CHAMPION"
Thanks to the judges that made our Azuma first in class :-) and of course to Ilse who shows our Azuma into perfection, you are the best!!
28 February 2010 There is a first time for everything and yesterday Azuma got her first "good", judged by mr. R. Spörr in open class. The reason he gave Azuma a good was because of her off-set placed crowns, that is okay by us if he thinks that should be awarded with a good. But he also gave Ilse the comment that Azuma would have won her class without the off-set crowns, well, that was not so nice to hear ;-), LOL. But her showreport makes everything "good" ;-), it is lovely! Better luck next time. ------------------------------------- The pictures of last week's shows have been placed under showresults. ------------------------------------- Our offspring is doing great and we received a lot of new pictures of Bwana, Dodo, Badu, Moon, Cezai. And we even got a movie from Boshira, this makes a rainy day feel like sunshine watch it and feel happy! Bwana, with a huge forechest!
21 February 2010 This weekend Ilse and I visited a double DZRR show in Germany. We booked a nice hotel (with bath!!), had lot's of fun, the dogs were behaving super and the show and atmosphere were great. The entry to this clubshow was unexpectedly high, 83 dogs on saturday, 76 dogs on sunday. It was Azuma's first appearance to an official show, since june last year, and only four months after her puppies. And I can say she made a great comeback in open class, of course thanks to Ilse, who shows her perfectly and it is so nice to see how much Azuma likes to be shown. Thanks everybody for the congratulations and great atmosphere! It is good to be back, with the big 6,5 months pregnant belly ;-))). It is unbelievable and unexpected but Azuma managed to get the following results: Saturday, 14 females in open class : 1 Excellent + CAC VDH + 2nd best female and res. CAC DZRR Sunday, 12 females in open class: 1 Excellent + CAC VDH So now she has 4x CAC VDH and only needs one for her German Championchip and she also has 3 x CACIB and only needs one for her International Championchip. What a luxery. Pictures will follow since Ilse and I both left our camera at home, but this picture shows Azuma is ready for her next showseason :-)!
Kani received a 4th place Excellent on saturday and a 2nd place Excellent + res. CAC VHD on sunday, both in Championclass! 9 February 2010 Lot's of new pictures again and we start with Noa from our A-litter and she is just doing perfectly with the 3 children in the house. We are so proud of her! And from our B-litter we received new pictures of
Clarisse who looks a lot like her mother Azuma (Azuma on the left, Clarisse on the right) And little, absolutely stunning Esban, mr. Ridgeless, stayed over with Ilse for a couple of days while Jacqueline was in Germany and while Moko was resting from a month with her new playmate ;-).
31 Januari 2010 We are so very proud of Floyd, Kanyo and Kimani who had their first show today. Unfortunately Bwana and Amira could not come because of heavy snowfall and Juma's owners have been cought by the flu. Azuma was in the ring for the first time after the puppies and Ghalu enjoyed us, just for practise and fun since we know he is shy and Kani was also entered. We left the show with some very nice showresults ;-). Ghalu got a good because of his shy behaviour and heavy bone ;-), Azuma became best female with 1st place Very Good (judge thought she was a bit too fat and that costed her the excellent), Kani not only became 1st Excellent, but also best male and BOB and 3rd BOG. And now the baby's, who were not or only little impressed about what happens at a dogshow Kanyo: 1 Very Promising, 4th BIS Baby males Floyd: 2 Very Promising Kimani: 1 Very Promising, 5th BIS Baby females Well, if that is'nt a good start!! The judge made a comment about Azuma's niples begin a bit pronounced, but after Ilse told him the puppies were from her and his best male "Kani", he complimented Azuma being in excellent shape so soon after the puppies and the puppies being so nicely build and good boned. Always nice to hear :-)
26 January 2010 Today we received Azuma's second CACIB Certificate, almost a year after she got this CACIB, we are still waiting for the one she got in Stuttgart, in november 2008!!!!! If we have that one, her 3 CACIB's are in and one more is needed for the title. We hope to finish her international championtitle later this year ;-). I finally placed the pictures of our first B-litter puppymeeting, all pictures are made by Ilse.
New pictures of our A-puppies, they will turn 3 years old in april. Look here for pictures of Kiki, Rhodin and Aisha.
And more new pictures, but this time from our B-litter, 3,5 months old now. Sweet Kimani, Bwana, Moon, Badu, Juma and Dodo. Moon & Dodo 18 January 2010 Lot's of updates coming soon, I will start with Azuma's new showcalender and Kanyo and Kimani will also be entered to their first shows. Their debut will be in babyclass on the unofficial clubshow in Rijssen and B-puppies Kanyo, Kimani, Bwana, Floyd and Juma will be there, I am sure it will be a lot of fun! ----------------------------- New pictures of absolutely stunning Floyd, and his lovely red livernose brother Esban
And our most special puppy, Dodo :-)! --------------------------- Yesterday we had our first litter reunion and we enjoyed it to the maximum, 9 out of 12 were present and I brought Vai and Azuma to Ilse's place. To play, but also to raise the puppies and I am so proud of Vai with doing exactly what some puppies needed, Respect for granny's :-)!! Pictures will follow as soon as possible, but here are two to start with.
4 January 2010 Finally time to update the website, and what a update, lot's of new pictures of our B-offspring, of which we are very proud. Badu, Cezai, Clarisse, Dodo, Juma, Bwana, Kanyo, Esban, Moon, Kimani and Floyd. Cezai & Bwana
